Native wildlife of Australia get totally wild on a chilled out nature kick in the rainforests around Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
If you’ve ever asked yourself “where and how do kangaroos live?” then perhaps you should get back on the road, drive to Currumbin (near the Gold Coast) and ask them for yourself!
Australian Wildlife animals like the emu, frilled neck lizard, gecko, giant eel, dingo, Tasmanian Devil and much more live it up like teenagers with no parental supervison in this wild life park, where there’s plenty of room to get down in the 27 surrounding hectares of rainforest and natural bushland.

Wild birds find sanctuary here as well. Listen out for the laughter of the blue winged kookaburra, watch lorikeets eat lorikeet food and, if you’re lucky enough, a barking owl just might volunteer itself for a photo shoot. Hopefully you have more luck feeding the lorikeets than young Guogo on Youtube. These lads seem to be doing ok with it;
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is more fun than being out in the bush growing raspberries so get your hairy rump down there and cuddle a koala or we may have to arrange for “Holey” the freshwater crocodile to pay you a visit sometime…You do not want to miss the wildlife shows featuring eagles and snakes and the traditional song and dance performed by local Aboriginal dancers.
