Cool Waters Holiday Park is a 4 star Caravan Park in Cairns. Located just seven minutes drive from the city of Cairns, Cool Waters makes for a convenient base camp to explore all the tourist and city attractions of Cairns. Set against the backdrop of magnificent mountains and bordered by a natural freshwater creek, wildlife is abundant in this pristine tropical rainforest setting.

Guests to Cool Water Holiday Park can choose from a variety of accommodation options including a stay in budget cabins and caravan sites. For the fancy pants among you they also offer luxury apartment/house style accommodation.
Mighty ancient trees mingle with superbly landscaped garden beds to ensure privacy, shade and serenity. Cool Waters Holiday Park can only be describe as “One of the most beautiful parks in Australia”.
The enthusiastic staff at Cool Waters (owners Dwayne and Susan Crowe pictured right) are all very helpful and possess a wealth of knowledge of the local environment. They will go right out of their way to make sure you get the most from your stay in Cairns.
Cairns Camp Grounds and Caravan Sites
Since you’ll be visiting Cairns in your Wicked Camper Van you’ll already have most of your basic living requirements sussed out. Still, sometimes it’s nice to have access to other amenities that campsites and powered caravan sites can offer.
Camping Sites
Cool Waters caravan park boasts an excellent camping area with lush green sites, some with absolute creek frontage, across from canefields with a mountain backdrop. Other sites are set amongst the rainforest shade trees alongside the creek, providing shade and cooler weather even on the hottest of days.
We have a few unpowered sites but most have power.

Powered Caravan Sites
Each caravan site has power, water, sullage outlets and a concrete slab for your annexe. As there are two modern, clean and well maintained amenities blocks in the campground all sites have good access to one or the other.
